This magnificent castle and fortress has sturdy towers, a working, wooden drawbridge, double swinging doors, a prison with slide-in grate, slide-in walls, a removable turret, a flagpole and a ladder. The castle is composed of fixed and interlocking pieces and can be assembled as an enclosed fortress with a central courtyard, or as a partly open structure. For additional play value, we have introduced a starter set composed of partially pre-cut cardboard trees, figurines and wall decorations that are easy to assemble using glue or sticky tape. The set is supplied with the basic furniture needed to furnish the castle at a reasonable cost. You may also finish the layout of the castle with some flexible wooden dolls from a wide selection, which can be purchased separately. The castle fortress is also suitable for play with metal or plastic soldiers and action figures.
